SOLD OUT Halston Print by Andy Warhol, $1000 at Fab.com

Did you know that Halston collaborated with Andy Warhol back in the 1980’s? It’s true! Right now, Fab.com has a collection Andy Warhol original posters from The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts for purchase, including the Halston print. Unfortunately, this piece flew off the shelves fast and is already sold out, but hey, it was one thousand bucks so we probably couldn’t afford it anyway! However, there are other slightly more affordable prints still available to shop here.

P.S. Did you hear Halston just launched an e-commerce site? Shop it here!

Top American designer Michael Kors will partner with actress Gwyneth Paltrow on a seasonal capsule collection* for her digital media and e-commerce company, Goop. Some items in the line will be somewhat reasonable, such as a $125 pendant, but others may be a bit out of reach for the every-girl, such as a $2500 cashmere cape. On a serious budget? Maybe you should add this collection to your holiday wish list. The collaboration is set to launch this December.

*A Breif History Lesson – What is a capsule collection?

The phrase capsule collection was coined in the 1970’s by London-based boutique owner Susie Faux. She used the phrase to describe a collection that contained only a few essential items that would not go out of style, in other words “the basics.” In the mid 1980’s, American designer Donna Karan popularized the phrase after releasing a very influential capsule collection comprised of seven interchangeable work-wear garments.
