London Fashion Week Recap Courtesy of Instagram

London Fashion Week concludes today, so today’s social media daily roundup is devoted to a recap of the most crazy beautiful and just plain crazy exhibits of Spring 2014 collections. Is it just me, or do these Brits know how to get creative and have fun?

ALEXIS BARRELL: South African native Aleix Barrell has always found inspiration in nature, and in her Spring 2014 show she literally had her models walking on water.

ADIDAS FOR WOMEN BY STELLA MCCARTNEY: Stella McCartney is known for having some of the most wearable collections in the business, so it’s no surprise she teamed up with Adidas for an exclusive women’s line. Her Spring 2014 exhibition literally showcased the collection’s wearability by taking the pieces for a test drive in some ultra-feminine athletic activities.

ORLA KIELY: Orla Kiely’s Spring 2014 collection truly examined the essence of the season and the curious nature of the female mind. Set in a safari-inspired landscape, this presentation invited your inner-explorer to run wild.

JULIEN MACDONALD: Over the top elegance set the scene for Julien Macdonald’s Spring 2014 collection. The show was held in a magnificent old world venue complete with a harpist to greet guests as they entered.

SOPHIA WEBSTER: Sophia Webster may be a newer designer, but she certainly pulled out all the stops for her Spring 2014 exposition. I’d say this looks like the most girly and fun garden party I can imagine.

ANYA HINDMARCH: As an accessories designer, Anya Hindmarch may feel she has to go above and beyond when displaying her collections. I think it’s safe to say she did just that in this galactic presentation of her Spring 2014 collection. What girl doesn’t want to float through a galaxy where the stars are handbags?

MARKUS LUPFER: Brit Markus Lupfer made us feel right at home at his Spring 2014 exhibit. The designer created the quintessential girl’s world to display his ultra-wearable Spring 2014 collection.

FASHION EAST: If you’ve yet to hear of Fashion East, it’s about time you did! This pioneering non-profit initiative was established in 2000 to assist up and coming designers through the early development of their careers. Each season, three womenswear and and three menswear designers are given the opportunity to present their collections at London Fashion Week. Below is one of the selected collections designed by Ryan Lo.
